Parking
The Hotel has a limited number of car parks available in the basement of the hotel and in the adjoining building. There is a charge per night of $17. Please pre book parking at the time of making your room reservation. When making your room booking through our website, please indicate in the the guest comments field that you wish to reserve a car park. To access the car park you will need to first check-in to the hotel and obtain a key swipe card that gives you access to the car park. Please note that we are unable to accommodate large vehicles over 2.2 metres in height.
Other options for parking include off-street parking (free after 6pm and 12pm in the weekends) or one of several car parking buildings within a two block radius from the hotel.
Disabled Access
Whilst the hotel does contain some split levels, the majority of rooms are accessible via one of the two elevators in the hotel. Several rooms contain specialized toilet and show facilities, if you need these facilities please mention in your booking that you request one of these rooms.
Superior Rooms
Superior Rooms feature either a King or Queen size bed and some have an additional bed suitable as twin share. Some rooms have baths and all feature showers. Superior rooms have all of the usual room amenities such as a TV, iron, hair dryer, mini bar plus coffee and tea making facilities. Free Broadband Internet Access is available in all Superior Rooms.
Standard Rooms
Standard Rooms feature a Queen size bed and some also have a second bed suitable as twin share. All rooms have a shower, TV, desk and the usual amenities such as hairdryer, iron, mini bar plus tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have small balconies. All rooms include broadband internet access. Complimentary access to the Internet Lounge is available to all guests.

Pets
Hotel Off The Square is a pet friendly hotel. If your pet has travelled before, there should be no problem. However please contact the hotel at the time of booking to ensure that we allocate you a suitable room depending on the type of pet you have.

Broadband Internet
Hotel Off The Square is one of the few hotels in Christchurch that offer free high speed broadband internet to all of our guests. We have a Complimentary Internet Lounge for guest use. Guests with laptops can make use of the Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, or the ethernet cable connection in all Superior Rooms rooms.
