Hotel Off The Square self rates at FOUR STAR. There is a Qualmark rating scheme in New Zealand but there is no unique & Boutique category that fits our San Francisco and New York styled hotel.

We say we are SOHO/WEST VILLAGE Manhattan. Guests certainly acknowledge our difference in Room Style, Shape and Colour plus the Art work that adorn the walls of the hotel.

In industry parlance statistics, we trade around 4.5 Star.

Our handful of small Standard Economy rooms also compete well against other similar priced hotel rooms in the immediate vicinity.

The Standard Chic Rooms  are very sensibly priced and has access to our free internet lobby.

Our Superior rooms are worth the upgrading price and have a variety of room offerings. The nice way to experience our hotel and often with specials included.  Free Broadband Internet Access is available in all our Superior Rooms and Lofts.

There are big VIP spaces, Family rooms with Bunks as well as Queen size for parents, Room space OK for couples to share and a variety of Off The Square room configurations. Talk to our friendly staff when booking. It’s the ‘Off The Square’  experience.

We don’t consider there are any other CHIC HOTELS of our nature in Urban New Zealand, hence Unique & Boutique and a special offering in the market.
